Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the iOS app ThumbSort (the “App”), offered by Lorenzo Filoni (see legal notice).

1. Description of Service

ThumbSort helps you go through your photo library, keep photos and videos or collect them in a delete list, and then permanently remove them using iOS's built-in delete function.

2. Responsibility for Deleted Content

Permanent deletion of photos and videos is always confirmed through the native iOS dialog. By confirming, you take responsibility for the deletion. We recommend backing up your photo library (e.g. via iCloud Photos) before larger clean-up sessions. To the extent permitted by law, no liability is assumed for content lost through deletions made in the App.

3. ThumbSort Unlimited (Subscription)

The App offers an optional subscription called ThumbSort Unlimited that removes the limitations of the free version. Duration, price, and renewal terms are shown in the App Store purchase dialog before you complete a purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period via your Apple ID account settings. Payment and subscription management (including cancellation and refunds) are handled exclusively through Apple's App Store; ThumbSort itself does not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly.

4. Referral Program

Anyone who shares a personal invite code may receive a credit once an invited person installs the App and redeems the code. Each Apple account may redeem at most one invite code. Abuse (e.g. redeeming one's own codes or using manipulated clients) may result in exclusion from the program. There is no legal entitlement to any particular form or continuation of the referral program.

5. System Requirements

The App requires access to the iOS photo library; certain features (referral program, restoring purchases) additionally require an active iCloud account on the device.

6. Changes

These Terms of Use may be updated, in particular when the App's functionality changes. The version published at the time of use applies.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions at your place of residence.
